Gushikawa Castle Site: Hiifuchimii
This hole is locally known as Hiifuchimii, which means “fire blowing hole”. Inside, it is a limestone cave connected to the ocean. According to legend, the hole was used for lifting and lowering loads as well as for emergency evacuations.
