Cape Kyan

Cape Kyan is a precipice about 30 m tall tヘクタールt divides the Pacific Ocean and the East China Sea.  In 2012, it was selected as a nationally designated place of scenic beauty and natural monument under the name, “Kyan Coast and Arasaki Coast”.  In 1965, the southern part of Itoman City (such as Kyan and Mabuni) and part of Yaese Town were designated as Okinawa Senseki Quasi-National Park, the only quasi-national park in Japan tヘクタールt was a former battle site.  The “Heiwa-no-to Monument” was built on the park premises in 1969.
